Only a chick could come up with an answer like that. I could not have made that up if I tried.
Of course they can't find the US on the map. They don't have maps to begin with.
It's like saying. I'm not speeding officer. My speedometer is broken and it's reading zero. How could I be speeding?
Well, you can't argue with that logic.
This is nothing Kumo. Anyone who watches the Tonight Show's "Jaywalking" segment or "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader) already knew this country is screwed.
That clip was one of those where one doesn't know if they should laugh or cry (for the future of this nation).
Well, I don't think, that she is that stupid, altough I grant you that she is stupid.
I've 2 explanations :
1) she is a woman, a simple and direct question doesn't exist in her world. The man asks her why 1 american out of 5 can't find the us on a map. So she pays attention to his tone. The man appears to be schocked and sad about it.
So she answers awkwardy, telling that it's not true (she and her friends can find it) and she comes with a solution (don't worry it's gonna be alright)
2) she is playing a game, she has to answer something. If she knows the real answer, she can't tell and if she doesn't know she has to give an answer at best funny, at worse an answer that won't eliminate her from the game.
So she isn't that stupid, she is clumsy but she is adapted to her world, which is even worse.

As Thomas Payne said, this whole thing is "more lamentable than strange."
THIS is the future of our country?
This is the person who has all power in the raising of her children?
I cannot believe that someone representing our country (in whole or in part) can't even explain intelligently why 1 in 5 people can't even find our country in a map!
I am quite sure that the powers behind feminism are just laughing at us.

She didn't explain why some American's can't find the US on a map, she demonstrated why. her stupidity actually came to be a benifit. Honestly, a professor couldn't give a better answer.
