Ahmadinejad: OPEC Members Interested in Converting Cash Reserves Into Non-Dollar Currency


RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Sunday that OPEC's members have expressed interest in converting their cash reserves into a currency other than the depreciating U.S. dollar, which he called a "worthless piece of paper."

His comments at the end of a rare summit of OPEC heads of state exposed fissures within the 13-member cartel -- especially after U.S. ally Saudi Arabia was reluctant to mention concerns about the falling dollar in the summit's final declaration.

The hardline Iranian leader's comments also highlighted the growing challenge that Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil producer, faces from Iran and its ally Venezuela within the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.

"They get our oil and give us a worthless piece of paper," Ahmadinejad told reporters after the close of the summit in the Saudi capital of Riyadh. He blamed U.S. President George W. Bush's policies for the decline of the dollar and its negative effect on other countries......

You shouldn't be so boastful. While you think your little hate movement is untouchable, you folks will soon see that Tyrants don't play favorites.

When the tide turns (which is already underway, in case you've been paying attention), you will find that women everywhere will be under attack in earnest, and there won't be too many people left that will be able to defend YOUR right to speak.

BTW, I'm politically independent, so I don't ally myself with either party. The Demms and the Repubs are two wings on the same diseased bird.

As for our outraged feminist friend, either she(he)'s a total psycho, or just pulling our legs. I know not which!

But yes, if our friend is being serious, this is the face of a desperate woman who knows that her little hate movement is a "Dead Man Walking."

When the dollar goes, and the US Economy is in ashes, then so goes organized, political feminism.

The more I listen to Ron Paul the more sense this guy makes. I don't consider myself one of those anti-war peacenick types. I thought taking the fight to the enemy was the thing to do after 9/11. After listening to Ron Paul it has become clear that US foreign policy is to stir up trouble to start wars.

Now they want to go into Iran. What's after that? Pakistan? Maybe that's all good and fine for Blackwater and Haliburton but it's costing the average guy at home in the form of more worthless US dollars being printed to finance these wars. Enough already.

Truer words have never been spoken.

As you've noticed, while I am a political independent, I don't spend my time bashing Bush or any one politician in particular because our system is broken.

Yes, there are unsavory people out there who are taking advantage of the situation, but the fact of the matter is that RP is exactly right... we as a people need to change our attitudes about government and what we really want.

Do we want War or do we want real peace and security?

Do we want socialism and feminism or do we want a free society?

Do we want to fight amongst ourselves (left wing, right wing, black, white, immigrant, etc) or do we want to fix our mistakes, bury the hatchet, and move on?

Ultimately, its up to us. We as men need to GET EDUCATED, get involved, and work for real change.

This bill has already passed through the House and is going through the Senate next.

If it finally passes, anyone who dares contradict the official, police state-approved line will be not only be societally-persecuted, but legally PROSECUTED.

BTW, you can guess who sponsored this bill: Zionist Jews and womyn who are getting their lies exposed and covers blown all over the internet right now. In fact, the bill was introduced and sponsored by 2 Jewish/Zionist womyn and supported by the Simon Wiesenthal Center - who was afraid of Zionist exposé theories flooding the net.
