The Marriage Strike... is way In!

What's good??

As my regular readers know, I fully support the Marriage Strike. There is absolutely NO reason for any man to get married in this day and age, as I have explained previously[a][b].

With that said, please take a look at this article:

Marriage and divorce rates at two-decade low in Washington state

May 11, 8:50 AM EDT

SEATTLE (AP) -- Marriage and divorce rates are at a
two-decade low in Washington state, and experts are divided on the reason.

The state recorded fewer divorces in 2004 than in 1986 despite a 1.7
million population increase, and that's in line with a national trend.

The nation's divorce rate, which shot upward following the widespread adoption of state no-fault divorce laws starting in the 1960s to a peak of 5.3 divorces per 1,000 people in 1981, has since fallen to 3.6. In Washington the decline from 1986 to 2004 was from 5.9 to 4.2.

"If you have fewer
marriages, you are going to have fewer divorces.," said Pepper Schwartz, a
University of Washington sociologist.

More couples now live together
without getting married, and "you can't get divorced unless you are married," Schwartz said.

Look at the rest of this piece when you have time.

In the long run, without marriage, and without children, the divorce lawyers, the corrupt government machinery, and the Matriarchy itself will collapse under its own corpulent weight.

I for one look forward to that day. Viva La Marriage Strike!!

So ridiculous how they headlined this article.

The real headline should have read, "MARRIAGE WAYYYY DOWN!"

Instead, they pick out divorce dropping SLIGHTLY as a side-effect of the huge decline in marriage!

What a joke!
