It is comforting to know that I am not alone in the knowledge that I now live in an official dictatorship!

These are discussing National Presidential Directive 51, giving President Bush unprecedented powers bordering on dictatorship. There has been no mention of this on any of the mainstream media organizations, nor is there any mention on the actual Directive about Congress being consulted at any stage of the “emergency” period.
This is an outrage!
I implore you to call Congressional hearings concerning this matter. I implore you to investigate the possibility that the Bush Administration has committed high crimes worthy of impeachment and removal from office.
I beg of you to use your Congressional powers and have this Directive repealed, or revised to include Congressional oversight!

Bush's two terms are up and he'll be out soon. My guess is that he will never use this directive personally.
The routine seems to be for one party to introduce measures that remove civil liberties or help to ruin the 2 parent family unit then the opposite party gets elected on a ticket to reform these policies but when they get elected some other "crisis" conveniently gets in the way of them keeping their election promises.
I do believe that Bush got elected on the "family" ticket and what has he done to repair Clinton's damage? Worse than nothing, he pushed through VAWA plus IMBRA to keep those feminists happy. Of course all the anti family stuff that Clinton did is pretty much forgotten by everyone but MRA's and the devoutly religious these days.
I think it'll be the next or the one after who will become the "dictator".
