Tent City: The All American Nightmare.

In a previous post, I mentioned that Thomas Jefferson wrote the following words:

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered… I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies..."

For those who thought Jefferson was joking, please take a look at this highly sobering post by Mish at his blog Global Economic Trend Analysis.

Welcome to the All American Nightmare.

Welcome to Bush-Ville!

Thomas Jefferson is a brilliant force of good! Without him there would have been no U.S.A. as we knEw it.

I like the quote by JFK who is also great:

...probably the greatest concentration of talent and genius in this house except for perhaps those times when Thomas Jefferson ate alone.

Gooo Gold!

It's inevitable... because our idiotic government types want to ban "speculation" in oil and gas. Hedge funds and other institutional types will decide to switch over to gold and silver when the pain (and the losses) are too much for them.
