Well gang,
I'm sure you've seen the papers and watched the news. Barack Obama has seized the Democratic nomination for President of the United States.
And to be totally honest, I am happy to see that a Black man has risen to this level of national prominence. It makes me feel good to see that America has done much to atone for its past mistakes; and it gives me hope that our country can move forward and become the beacon of Liberty and Justice that it has always had the potential to be.
So, as a Black man, will I be supporting Barack Obama?
The answer to that question is NO. There is only one man that I will be voting for President this November, even if I have to write in his name myself.
That man is Ron Paul.
Before I explain my reasoning, I would like to point out that many of my peoples would look at me like I was a Sell-Out, or a Traitor, or both.
See, most non Black-folks have little understanding of the inner workings of the Black community. And most have no understanding of how tribal we are. The pressure to conform is absolutely enormous. It's kinda like groupthink to the tenth power!
So my Black readers will understand when I say that I am really going out on a limb here by opposing one of my Brothers. I would say to my critics that I am doing so for very compelling reasons.
I do not support Obama because:
1) He is against the Second Amendment. This is a huge No No because the Constitution must be enforced and upheld, in its entirety, at all times; otherwise it is useless. More importantly, owning a firearm is a basic human right that no government has the moral right to repeal.
As a matter of fact, the entire concept of gun control is dangerous, racist, and has caused countless numbers of deaths because good people were powerless before vicious criminals and crooked governments.
Anyone who would try to take away my guns, either politically or physically, is just like someone who is trying to take away my life. There is no distinction between the two in my book. And yes... it's that serious.
2) He has no understanding of the real economic issues gripping this nation. His programs call for massive amounts of government spending, but no real plan to tackle our national debt, our fiat monetary policy, or our burdensome federal tax code, which American citizens shouldn't be paying anyway. If you want to know what a real economic plan looks like, check out Ron Paul's proposals here.
3) Obama is no friend of fathers, a brutal truth that this blog has mentioned before here, here and here.
4) Obama is a committed globalist, and member of the nefarious Council on Foreign Relations.
5) Obama is a feminist candidate, through and through. See the evidence for yourself here. And, while the other major feminists groups, NOW PAC, Emily's List, and others have endorsed the Great Feminist Loser Hitlary Clinton, expect these hives of feminist villany to make Nice Nice with the new nominee in short order.
Based on these facts, I have no choice but to support Ron Paul, the only candidate that stands for Sound Money, Liberty, Privacy, and the Rule of Law.
No one else comes close.
And, while I expect that Obama will easily beat John Mclame, I for one will vote my conscience and support Ron Paul. When the economy crashes, and the something for nothing crowd reaps what it has sown, I will smile with satisfaction that I stood my ground, and voted against enthusiastic and well meaning feminist/socialist/globalist tyranny.
Let's keep it real... Leftist policies have utterly destroyed the Black family, and ruined the lives of millions in the process. There is no way that I can jump on the bandwagon and help condemn my people, and the nation, to the same old programs and ideologies that condemned millions of human beings to stressful lives in poverty and crime stricken ghettos.

Toku-sama, as a White, I think that I do understand quite well how tribal both blacks and Blacks can be. If Obama's weird messiah complex and socialist tendencies didn't dissuade me from voting for him, the tribal factor that you mentioned would certainly do so. The part that gets me is that, while blacks are permitted to be tribal, whites are proscribed from doing so. Seems to me that if all are equal, if racial identitity politics are okay for blacks, they should be allowed for whites.
Question for you: do you consider blacks who vote for a black for no other reason than he is black to be the same as a white who votes against a black for no other reason than he is black?
"Obama is no friend of fathers..."
Indeed I think most of the so-called Black Leaders are no friend of fathers either. Which may contribute to the travails of the black family these days.
"...The part that gets me is that, while blacks are permitted to be tribal, whites are proscribed from doing so. Seems to me that if all are equal, if racial identitity politics are okay for blacks, they should be allowed for whites..."
I have noticed this double standard for a long time, and I think that group politics are what will tear this country apart, if feminism and our free spending ways don't do us in first.
Should whites be allowed to support a candidate simply because he's white? My answer is that people have freedom of thought and association. If someone wants to roll with the "White Power Party," there isn't much I can do to stop that.
But is it wise?
In a word, no. People, black, white, and other, should judge a candidate by a Constitutional standard. In other words, does this person understand that the People are sovereign? Does he pledge to uphold all provisions of the Constitution? Will he protect my rights and enforce my responsibilities against the claims of all others?
After all, the Founding Fathers stated again and again in the Federalist Papers that the Constitution was designed to protect the rights of minorities, be they political, ideological, geographical, and (implicitly) racial.
Now, with all that said:
I decry woman-centric, black centric, white centric, gay centric, and other forms of group politics because it is a step backwards. It is the road to barbarism.
"Indeed I think most of the so-called Black Leaders are no friend of fathers either. Which may contribute to the travails of the black family these days."
Agreed. Feminist policies, and woman firster thinking has utterly gripped the black community like an iron fist.
And its somewhat understandable, as traditionally, in Africa and elsewhere, women have always occupied positions of tremendous power and influence. And many men buy into the feminist complaint that women have been "abused for centuries" without doing their homework.
Treating a woman like a human being that has equal worth before God is quite different than suspending all moral and ethicial responsibilities for her just because of incidents of alleged abuse going back 10,000 years or some other nonsense.
But, until the Black Man wakes up and understands how feminism is literally destroying his foundation as a man from childhood onwards, expect the total annihilation of the Black family to continue.
So, as a Black man, will I be supporting Barack Obama?
The answer to that question is NO. There is only one man that I will be voting for President this November, even if I have to write in his name myself.

AMEN, BROTHER.
AMEN.
And you are RIGHT about teh groupthink pressures. Me opposing Obama automatically gets me branded as a sellout. sorry to my black brethrens but PRINCIPLE comes before racial loyalties.
The sheeps and their media masters are extremely bizarr. why is obama considered black when he is half white. why not tell to white people they should vote for obama cause he is white!! damn sheeps........
"The sheeps and their media masters are extremely bizarr. why is obama considered black when he is half white..."
YY, I believe the label of "Black" applies because of the One Drop rule, which was that anyone who had even the smallest amount of African ancestry was automatically labeled black off top.
I myself am Interracial (Mozambican/Columbian/German/Irish) , but I am a member of the black community because in America, if you look black in any way, than most people automatically classify you as black.
There are some multi-racials that have attempted to carve out a "mixed" identity, but I think that it will take time before the One Drop rule is buried alongside the corpse of political feminism forever and ever.
I see.
From what I heard there can be racial difficulties inside the black "community" that mixed people discriminate against total blacks and vice versa. But probably only few people engage in that.
Why I think in this case it is especially important is that I don't know if you know about that topic but it seems that most US presidents come from the same bloodlines all the way back from sumer to egypt to rome to aristocracy to USA. Or at the very least they say it's proven that most US presidents come from Charlemagne bloodline for instance. And they say Obama comes from the important bloodlines too and is even a remote cousin of g.w.bush. but of course if the sheeps don't even grasp the concept that someone born from a white mother can't be 100% black then discussing such advanced topics isn't even remotely possible.
PS:very interesting about your races. I was always wondering why you are so smart..german ancestors..now I understand ;D

Guten Tag!
My german connection has been good to me. Excellent beer, great food, and a lovely young ladyfriend from Dusseldorf, but that's another story for another time.
"And they say Obama comes from the important bloodlines too and is even a remote cousin of g.w.bush.."
Yes he is, I believe it was in the New York Post:
http://www.nypost.com/seven/10172007/news/regionalnews/dissing_cousins__obama__cheney.htm
And you're right: bloodlines count for much in the history of the elite families.
I find it ironic that while ignorant women the world over destroy their families by any means necessary; the rich and the elite do most everything they can to keep their family honor intact.
"One rule for me, and another for thee."
How ignorant these mortals be!
haha that's good to hear and yeah the beer is excellent ;)
wow that's amazing for the NY post! although they seem to think that there is nothing strange about it.
good observation on the families.
