Turbulence!

Greetings Tokumaniacs!!

There's a lot of chaos going on these days.

Visit Dollarcollapse.com and find out about how the major Wall Street firms are cutting thousands of jobs.

Reflect on the reasons why Gold took one hell of a beating at Goldseek.com.

And finally, see this insightful piece about Bear Sterns, the Fed, and why JP Morgan might find itself on the auction block really soon!

Wowzers!

Make no mistake though. Financial oblivion is still a major possibility, because, despite all the Fed actions and such, none of the fundamentals have changed. The economy sucks, jobs are being lost left and right, governments and businesses are seeing decreased revenues, and people are finally realizing that saving and investing their pennies isn't such a bad deal after all.

Not to mention that the Fed, the Government Sponsored Enterprises (Fannie and Freddie), and the Government itself are rapidly taking on unsustainable amounts of debt in the doomed effort to save our corrupt economic order.

When push comes to shove, the Feds will do what central governments do best: Print the Money.

Which means, physical Gold and Silver are going to be where its at. When the house of cards comes tumbling down, nothing else will be able to touch Gold in terms of monetary value.

So!

Don't sleep ladies and gents: the fiscal problems this country faces are far from over. Check with your certified adviser, and make sure you get your financial house in order!

And, be sure to check back, as I begin my commentary of the writings of Bax. His work is fascinating, and I want to make sure I break it down properly.

Aiight??

Toku.

The last days must have been one of the most if not the most overt manipulations of financial markets in history!bad news everywhere, dollar up, banks up, dow up, agricultural products down, gold down, silver got killed, and to a lesser extent oil down. I heard one of the reasons was they made margin calls on the commodity funds - at the same time the PPT and gold cartel probably got increased margins!;) lol!gonna be one hell of a strike-back now!

Yepper!!

I have cashed out my SLV and GLD positions in order to take profits but... I have been adding to my physical holdings!

I think the stock market will continue to go up... until the last bull decides to do what I'm doing and ride it out in cash. And when that happens...

Humpty Dumpty will have a great fall!!

(Not to mention that there are silver shortages across the U.S. Who's buying up all the silver??)

Now is NOT the time to blink, thats for damn sure!

Not bull... I meant Bear sorry.

With all the manipulation going on, its hard to say which way the market will go. And its especially dangerous to try to short the financials, as they are backed by the full scheming and manipulation of the PPT!

Yes!! Unfortunately I made a small speculation in shorting a financial corporation!! fuck you PPT !! The physical market is getting drier and drier!! How long will the manipulated paper market be able to withstand the physical market pressure?

Do you actually think that they will prop up the Dow towards 14k and beyond? Could very well be...although I think there would have to be pretty serious hyperinflation for that to happen. On the other hand the ruling elite has all the money in the world...I guess they could prop it up to 30k if they wanted to....anyway hyperinflation is knocking at the door!!

Pretty much.

Actually, I'm thinking that there will be a (shortlived) rally between now and summer, unless things deteriorate so quickly that they have to be reported by the Oldstream media.

It's my understanding that there are a lot of people (like me) who are sitting in Cash and waiting for the volatility to settle down. And, if enough of that Big Money should flow into the Markets, then yeah, 13-14K is possible.

Tell you the truth though, things have gotten to the point where I'm not even trying to guess the short-term. I know my economic theory to know what will happen long term, and that is where I am focusing my efforts. I'm on defense (Cash and Gold) instead of offense (Going long or short).

Whatever happens, its going to be an interesting movie with a very tragic ending.

Toku,

What is your opinion on Gold Stocks vs Gold ETF's, and again, ETF's vs Physical Bullion?

I've taken some profits off the table from my Gold Stocks, which I had gobs of, lol, thankfully... and I'm humming and hawing about whether to wait for buying the Gold Stocks again(I did not sell all, only half - but which did not go up proportionately to bullion, and perhaps indicates a stock run next, rather than a bullion run), or to buy some physical Gold and stuff it into a Security Deposit Box, and sidestep the whole ETF thing completely.

I advice for diversifying - mining stocks, ETF's, physical bullion should all be held - but imo physical should be bought first, then mining stocks, then ETF's. THe question is how much percentage you wanna cram in each one.

Toku: I hope your not holding too much cash. You know you could wake up one night and all cash stocks bonds could be worthless or close to it. then the government geniuses will come up with a great solution.
I quote from http://www.newswithviews.com/Stang/alan39.htm
(very funny writing style imo)
"When the nation is at par, you can merge it. Indeed, in classic Hegelian dialectical fashion, you can present the merger as the solution, as the way to end the panic. As sure as Marx did not make little, green apples, after enough Mr. and Mrs. ARMS have abandoned the behemoth housing they never could afford and hit the road in the middle of the night, our Communist media will start to tell the still somnolent people about something called the “Amero.” The ARMS will hear about it on their portable radios in the Grapes of Wrath tent cities now erupting across America.

The “Amero” is the monetary unit of the new nation called the North American Union, which comprises the former United States, the former Mexico and the former Canada. The “Amero” will be advertised as “good” money, a safe financial refuge that will replace the “bad” dollar. And zombie Americans will stampede into it, shouting hosannas to the fiscal geniuses who by coincidence had it ready. "

Toku - "Whatever happens, its going to be an interesting movie with a very tragic ending."

YESSSS!! haha I was thinking the same yesterday, imo it's gonna be BY FAR the most interesting movie ever!!The number one reason why I want to make it through all the comming hardship is not even making money, it is just to see how everything will play out. Been reading about the whole NWO a lot now.....I wanna see how the final battle plays out!!! How will the sheeps react? How will they introduce the EU dictatorship? How the NAU?What about the Divine?I have so many questions and part of me screams for an answer...other part of me is understandably scared and wants to just get away!

Yours truly,

YY

I reiterate the take-home question here: What is the best way to actually invest in precious metals?

Stocks?
Commodities?
ETFs?

Which ones? Give us some ticker symbols! :D
