A bit hard on the ears, but amen!

To his comment about how one never seems to find feminists among married women, I do think that is true. Feminism is about independence from men, about autonomy for women. Neither independence nor autonomy are secured in a marriage; in fact it is the opposite.

When women get divorced, though, hooo-weee! That's when the feminists come out to play.

I appreciated his discussion about feminism and how it applied differently to white and to black women. I differ with him though that the black family was all fine and hunky dory back in Africa and it was slavery that messed it up.

A big part of the reason why sub-Saharan Africa, where most slaves in the Americas came from, is such a basket case even today, more than 100 years after slavery ended, is because of the semi-egalitarian matrifocal family model they had back then and still retain to this day.

Thus, when feminism came around, white women adopted that matrifocal marital model as part of their Marxist platform to replace patriarchal hegemony. They liked it that a black woman had so much authority in the family. But they failed to see how the matri-focal family fails to adequately invest men in the society.

Thus the black family didn't have the residual cultural resistance to feminism that takes decades to wear down that the white family had. Thus black families in America suffered earlier the fate that white families are headed for, many of whom are just starting to find out how bad its been for the black family since the civil rights movement and the advent of political feminism.

PS is it a freak coincidence that when the video ends, the text "moo ichido itte iru" appears in hiragana and kanji?

Wapiti,

I hold a different view as to why the black American family utterly collapsed... the Great Society.

While blacks weren't married at the same rates as whites after slavery and the Jim Crow era, and in spite of all of the hardships we have had to endure, the black family held up fairly well until black women, per the requirements of TANF, food stamps, and the whole nine, were required to divorce, or weren't allowed to have fathers reside in the same household, in order to get benefits.

Now this economic disincentive was strong enough to tear apart a structure that, as you suggest, wasn't as rock solid as say, white married couples to begin with.

About the semi-egalitarian matrifocal family model of the African, I don't really think that is such a bad thing. As you say, black women have always had tremendous influence in the family unit.

But black people in America were the perfect test subjects, in my view, because we were socially and economically weak because of slavery and the discrimination and barriers that were erected afterwords.

One can look at modern African countries that have managed to hold on to their traditions of marriage in spite of colonial dominance and Western feminist friendly propaganda being waged daily in English language media consumed by Africans.

The only way Patriarchal cultures can maintain their purity is a stubborn willingness to argue with insane feminists who are hell bent on destroying it. And as I look around in the West, I don't see too many countries that have managed to rise to the occasion.

I also wanted to add that while African women always held positions of influence, at the same time, the most stalwart custodians of traditional African values are the women.

For most cultures, it's up to the womenfolk to instruct the child in its proper role. We see this in strongly male dominant cultures such as Japan, for instance.

As the Cultural Marxists surmised, control of a culture is best achieved by the control of the thought patterns of its women.

None of this will matter anymore if men shake off the shackles of marriage and parenthood.

It now appears more and more obviously that the abolition of marriage is the only way out.

The family now lies, agonizing.
The time has come to put an end to its misery.

So, let's kill the beast and move on with our lives.

Anarchiste,

I agree with your sentiment... men should not get married in today's climate. But at the same time, I think marriage is worth fighting for, because happily married people contribute the most to healthy children, healthy societies, and genuine wealth and prosperity.

Until things change, men should definitely avoid married. But in the meantime, I plan on doing everything in my power to right what is wrong, so that men and women can enter marriage freely if they so choose.

Sorry, Toku... but SWP is NOTHING CLOSE to an MRA.

But there ARE two BM on YT making videos who ARE true men's rights activists. they actually speak about important MRA issues like Child Support and the courts.

I'll give u links to their pages:
